Copilot is Microsoft’s artificial intelligence technology that is being integrated into the company’s applications. The new Facilitator agent in Teams is designed to be your AI assistant for more effective collaboration in meetings and chats.
The Facilitator agent can take notes during your Teams meetings and chats. The Facilitator summarises key information from the conversations, so users can catch up quickly.
In meetings, the Facilitator allows everyone to co-author real-time notes and collaborate seamlessly.
In chat, the Facilitator creates and maintains an up-to-date summary of important information as the conversation happens, including key decisions, actions items, and open questions to resolve.
Microsoft will be rolling out this feature in the near future, but businesses will require a Microsoft 365 Copilot license to use it.
Facilitator and Microsoft 365 are built on Microsoft's comprehensive approach to security, compliance, and privacy. As a part of its security promise, businesses can discover, protect, and govern AI interactions with Facilitator through Microsoft Purview.
Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365 is an AI-powered productivity tool that uses large language models (LLMs) and Microsoft 365 apps (such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) to provide real-time intelligent assistance, enabling you to enhance your creativity and productivity.
