Strident engineers Luke Millar, Stuart Rodger and Nathaniel Wright have completed more of their Microsoft certifications, proving they have the skills to offer the best support to our customers.

"The Microsoft 365 productivity suite and Teams with Voice offer a huge number of features for customers to collaborate with colleagues and work remotely. These systems need to be set up professionally to offer the highest levels of productivity and security. These certifications prove we can do it."

Microsoft 365 and Teams

Nathaniel passed the Microsoft 365 certification, which included implementation in the cloud, on-premises and hybrid environments.

"In addition to the key productivity and planning aspects of Microsoft 365, the certification also looks at cloud device management and protection, data protection using Azure Information Protection and the compliance features in Microsoft 365. With businesses placing a great deal of information in the cloud, ensuring security and data protection is essential," says Nathaniel.

Luke and Stuart passed the Microsoft Managing Teams certification, which focuses on the implementation and administration of Teams and its VoIP telephony capabilities.

"Teams has quickly become the communication hub for businesses, allowing colleagues to work together and share information far more effectively than bouncing emails around," says Luke. Certification covers planning and configuring Teams environments and developing a set of bespoke policies that allows users to work productively while ensuring they only have access to the resources they need.

Teams with Voice adds telephony enabling it to replace a traditional phone system. "Certification covers correct implementation of Teams with Voice, covering issues such phones, licences, call groups and queues. As the UK moves to a digital only phone system, Teams with Voice will offer all the benefits of a VoIP system across phones, tablets and PCs," adds Stuart.
