21 April 2022
While 2013 may seem like a long time ago, particularly in computing terms, Office 2013 is still in use with many smaller businesses operating on a 'if isn't broken' policy. This has led to Microsoft's Office 2013 suite continuing to be supported by the company (security updates only) even now. However, that all ends on 11 April 2023.
Microsoft is recommending customers move to Microsoft 365 Apps, which includes the Office applications you are familiar with (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) plus many new applications, such as Teams, that can help improve productivity. These apps are continuously updated as part of annual subscription.
After Office 2013 reaches the end of support, Microsoft won't provide any new security updates and will increase your exposure to security problems. This will also affect Office 2016 and 2019 eventually.
Increase your productivity and security by moving your business to Microsoft 365 Apps. Call Strident on 01473 835 280 for more information.
