Each month we round up our Silver Awards for good causes. In April we supported Suffolk Young Peoples Health Project and St John Ambulance.

Suffolk Young People's Health Project, also known as 4YP, is an Ipswich-based charity, which provides services to young people in Suffolk, aged 12-25. Working from a drop-in centre in Lower Brook Street, Ipswich and throughout the county, including in many schools, 4YP offers advice, guidance, and practical support. 4YP helps young people develop the skills and knowledge they need to lead healthier, happier, safer, more resilient lifestyles, make more informed choices, and enable them to reach their potential.
"We have worked with Strident for many years, who have provided excellent IT support for us,” explains Karl Dickinson, Business and Marketing Coordinator at 4YP. "It’s great to receive a Silver Award and it’ll be a big help to us to deliver our projects. For example, our six-month music project will help participants learn more about the music industry, work with artists and ultimately put on a community event to raise awareness for mental health.”

Congratulations to Rosie Barrack, Office Manager at HR talent specialists and Strident customer, Waddington Brown Ltd, who completed a very hot London Marathon and raised money for St John Ambulance. She has raised more than £2400 for the charity.
"Sunday was the most incredible day! The support from the charity, my family, friends, colleagues and the general public around the course kept me going and I had an amazing day,” said Rosie.
"I chose St John Ambulance as my nominated charity because of the unconditional support and time they give to public events and concerts including large sporting events such as the London Marathon. My son plays football locally and my daughter participates in sport and dance and every event I attend with them St John Ambulance is always present."
