The latest version of Strident Advanced Monitoring System helps to prevent malware and ransomware attacks.
The Strident Advanced Monitoring System, or SAMS as we call it, is installed on all Strident-supported PCs and servers. It enables us to check your systems securely, quickly and remotely to ensure there are no issues.
We're now rolling out a new version of SAMS which helps us to identify computers that have not been updated with the latest security patches quicker and to patch them remotely without affecting you.
Keeping security patches up to date helps to prevent malware and ransomware attacks, many of which are only successful on computers that have not been updated. If you're already a Strident customer the SAMS update will happen automatically in the background and you don't need to do anything. You may notice the icon change but otherwise it's business as usual.
